Gustav Mahler’s Second Symphony, also known as “Resurrection,” is an epic choral orchestral work that evokes both strength and contemplation. One of the largest symphonies ever created in terms of power, drama and harmonic boldness, it relays the story of life: the essential quest for understanding, and coming to terms with both life’s challenges.
